“#WATATEN! Anime VA Unit Wataten☆5's 1st Solo Concert to be Streamed Worldwide”

Good news for all the WATATEN fans around the world! The first solo concert of Wataten☆5, the five-member voice actress unit of the WATATEN!: An Angel Flew Down to Me anime franchise, has been decided to be streamed worldwide, including the US, Canada, Australia, and Asian countries.

The unit Wataten☆5 consists of the five voice cast members who played the girls of elementary school age in the anime – Maria Sashide (Hana Shirosaki), Rika Nagae (Hinata Hoshino), Akari Kito (Noa Himesaka), Hitomi Ohwada (Koyori Tanemura), and Naomi Ozora (Kanon Konomori). They performed the anime's OP song "Kimama na Tenshi-tachi" and ED song "Happy Happy Friends."

Their first solo online concert titled "Delicious Smile!" is scheduled to be held from 20:00 on February 6, 2021 (JST) / 03:00 on February 6 (PT). Archive streaming will be available between February 6 and 12.

In commemoration of the concert, a full version music video for "Delicious Smile!," the lead track from the unit's first album of the same name released on November 25, 2020, will be posted on Flying Dog's official YouTube channel at 18:00 on January 18 (JST) / 01:00 on January 18 (PT).

The Doga Kobo-produced TV anime adaptation was aired for 12 episodes in Japan from January to March 2019, and has been available on Crunchyroll to its members worldwide except Asia. A new anime project has been in the works.
