⁣Jonathan “Hovain” Hylton’s memorial service has been formally announced and will be held in New York City this coming week.

Details about the beloved music executive’s funeral were shared via Instagram on Friday (December 2) by Rob Markman, who was one of Hovain’s clients.

“On behalf of The Hylton and Silver family, we would like to welcome you as we celebrate the life of ⁣Jonathan “Hovain” Hylton,” the rapper and media star’s post read.

The celebration of life will take place at Saint Paul Community Baptist Church⁣ in Brooklyn, NY on Thursday, December 8th, 2022. A public ⁣viewing will be held from 9 am -10 am the⁣ service is from 10 am -11:30 am⁣.

The family also expressed their gratitude for all the love and support they have received. “Thank you so much for your continued show of love and support for his family during the difficult time,” the post concluded.

Hovain’s passing was confirmed last Saturday (November 26) in a post shared on his Instagram account.

“It is with deep regret that we message to all family, friends, and colleagues that Jonathan ‘Hovain’ Hylton passed away while at his home on Friday. He was a beloved and devoted father, husband, son, brother, and a proud Brooklyn representative,” the statement read.

It continued: “We’d like to thank all of his close friends for all of the love and support that you have shown during this difficult time. We ask that you all continue to keep his family in your prayers and respect their privacy at this time.”

Throughout his career, Hovain worked with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Lloyd Banks, Troy Ave, Dave East, Wale, Karen Civil, and many more. When news of Hovain’s passing broke, tributes poured in from many from the Hip Hop community.

Young Guru, who was managed by Hovain, wrote on his IG: “I have no words. I loved this man. He was more than my manager he was my brother. I swear this is too much. RIP my brother [six broken heart emojis] @hovain you were special.”

Westside Gunn described Hovain as one of Griselda’s “biggest supporters.”

“@Hovain was one of Griselda’s biggest supporters he would help anyway possible I’m forever grateful [two palms out emojis] RIP HOVAIN the dot connector,” he wrote.

Out of respect to Hovain, Styles P announced that he was pushing back the release of his latest album.

“The album A Calm Wolf/Penultimate is postponed from Dec. 9,” Styles wrote. “Hovain was the one who would handle all I had to do. Miss him dearly for multiple reasons but I have to pull my brain together. In the meantime I did drop a music NFT @farmacyfantoms you can buy it with a credit card. Get familiar with web 3.”
