#Honey Lemon Soda Original Series Soundtrack Now Available on Music Streaming Platforms

Milan Records has announced that the Honey Lemon Soda Original Series Soundtrack is now available on several music streaming platforms. The series’ soundtrack was composed and written by pianist Akira Kosemura (Blue Orchestra).

The main soundtrack for the shojo romance TV anime series contains a total of 21 tracks.

Talking about the soundtrack, Kosemura provided the following statement:

‘Honey Lemon Soda – Main Theme’ and ‘You’re My Sunshine’ were my first [approach] to this project. I read the original manga Honey Lemon Soda (circulation of over 14 million copies as of today) the anime series is based on and received beautiful inspirations from it. Especially, it’s written about the scent and colors of love unique to student days, which are dazzling and somehow nostalgic. I wrote the music based on the feeling I got from this manga, and it worked well for the original anime series soundtrack. I’m very much looking forward to how the music influences the anime series.

The 12-episode TV anime series was first broadcast in Japan on January 8, 2025. The anime adaptation is based on the shojo romance manga series by Mayu Murata, which began serialization in Shueisha’s RIBON magazine on December 28, 2015. Twenty-seven tankobon volumes have been released as of December 2024. Yen Press releases the manga in English for North America.

In middle school, Uka Ishimori was nicknamed “Stone.”

In order to change herself, she enrolled in Hachimitsu High School, known for its culture of student liberty. Seated in at the desk next to her in the same class is Kai Miura, a coolly freewheeling boy with lemon-colored hair. In truth, Uka met Kai once in middle school, and decided to attend Hachimitsu based on a single word he said to her.To Uka, the popular Kai is a distant presence.

Yet somehow, Kai starts to look after Uka. With Kai encouraging her, Uka gradually begins to fit in with her classmates…
