#Homeless man tosses baby stroller onto Bronx subway tracks

A homeless man threw a baby stroller onto the tracks on a Bronx subway — and was arrested after the train conductor held the doors shut until police arrived, cops said.

Fabian Davis, 35, allegedly tossed the empty stroller on the tracks from aboard a No. 2 train as it pulled into Wakefield-241st Street station in the Bronx on Saturday afternoon, his fellow straphangers told NYPD.

The conductor, who told cops she saw Davis on board the train with the stroller, “kept the doors closed so he couldn’t exit” before police arrived, the NYPD said.

MTA workers later retrieved the stroller from between two train cars, police sources said.

The incident occurred at 3:10 p.m., according to transit officials. Normal service resumed 35 minutes later.

Cops slapped Davis with two counts of first-degree and two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment. He was also charged with one count of obstruction of governmental administration.

His only previous arrest was in 2019 for criminal possession of a used crack pipe.

Last week, accused subway saboteur Demetrius Harvard caused nearly $1 million in damage when he allegedly threw a piece of unsecured construction debris onto some Manhattan subway tracks, causing an occupied train to derail.
