Japanese pop singer Hikaru Utada has revealed her new artist photo and a teaser movie for her new song “PINK BLOOD.” The song is now featured as the OP theme for the TV anime adaptation of Yoshitoki Oima’s fantasy manga To Your Eternity.

A full music video for the song is now in production. Completely different from her previous music video “One Last Kiss” (Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time theme song), the teaser movie foreshadows that it will have more conceptual contents. The video was directed by Eiji Tanigawa of Creative Lab.TOKYO, while TAKAY, who worked on the jacket of her 2018 album “Hatsukoi,” served as photographer. The release date of the song and the music video will be announced on her official website later.

The TV anime To Your Eternity premiered in Japan on April 12, and its first episode “The Last One” is now available to Crunchyroll Premium members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
