#Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou Will Air In April 2021

The upcoming anime Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou will air in April 2021, a new trailer has revealed. 

The anime stars Kazuyuki Okitsu (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online) as male protagonist Yoshida and Kana Ichinose (Darling in the Franxx) as female protagonist Sayu Ogiwara. Other cast members include Hisako Kanemoto (Bang Dream! 3rd Season) as Airi Goto, Kaori Ishihara (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World) as Yuzuka Mishima, Yuusuke Kobayashi (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) as Hashimoto, and Natsumi Kawaida (Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater) as Asami Yuuki.  

Meanwhile, the staff includes Manabu Kamikita as director, Akao Deko a.k.a Hitomi Memo (Noragami) as series composer, Takayuki Noguchi (Cinderella Nine) as character designer, Lin Ge (Idolish 7) as art director, Tomoya Kamijou (Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On) as director of photography, Jin Aketagawa (If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die) as sound director, and Tomoki Kikuya (Nisekoi) as music composer.

The anime is based on the light novel series written by Shimesaba and illustrated by Booota. Anime News Network describes the story:

26-year-old Yoshida is an employee at a major IT company. He meets a high school girl on his way home after drinking. Yoshida’s crush had decisively rejected him after he pined for her for five years, and he had decided to drink his sorrow. Sayu, the runaway high school girl he meets, says they could sleep together if he lets her stay with him. Yoshida chides the girl for the suggestion but eventually lets her stay with him.

The cast details and a key visual were revealed back in October.
