BLACKPINK is coming back to your area. The K-pop mega girl group, who’s been on hiatus since the end of 2023, is making a comeback this year and embarking on a world tour. A new 20-second tour trailer announced the endeavor on February 5, though no dates or further information has been released.
It may seem strange to announce BLACKPINK’s comeback right now considering all four of its members are deep in the weeds of promoting various solo projects. It’s only been a few months since Rosé’s released her debut solo album rosie in December 2024, and JENNIE’s Ruby arrives March 7, LISA’s album Alter Ego on February 28, and Jisoo’s AMORTAGE on February 14. That’s not even to mention LISA’s forthcoming appearance in the third season of White Lotus and Jisoo’s role in the new K-drama Newtopia.
That’s just the surface of how busy the girls have been since officially going solo in December 2023 and clearly they’ve been even busier now that we know they were also prepping the return of BLACKPINK. And it turns out there were some hints the girl group would be making its return sooner than expected; chattering on the South Korean social media platform Naver at the top of this year alluded to a May 2025 return — which is looking more and more to be true.
Ahead, see everything we know so far about BLACKPINK’s 2025 world tour.
