The upcoming Healer Girl anime has received an April 4 Japanese premiere date and a trailer. The trailer previews the show’s premise and its main cast of characters.

It was also announced that the Healer Girls chorus unit, which is composed of the main cast, will have a collaboration with Japanese pop and R&B singer May J. The collaboration will include performances of “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” and “Hanamizuki” as well as a talk segment.  Two making of videos will be uploaded on the Healer Girls YouTube channel on March 14 and March 21 respectively, while the main video will be uploaded on the BANDAI NAMCO Arts Channel on March 28..

Healer Girl‘s premise involves people known as Healers, who use singing to cure illnesses and injuries. The story follows three first-year high school students who are also apprentice Healers, as well as a C-class Healer who has returned from overseas and is also a first-year at the protagonist’s school.

The staff includes Yasuhiro Irie (Scorching Ping Pong Girls, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) as director, Noboru Kimura (Princess Principal: Crown Handler) as series composer and scriptwriter, Yukie Akiya (Princess Principal) as character designer, Studio Easter’s Sou Senoo (Takt Op. Destiny background artist) as art director, Rie Katou (Love Live! Superstar!!) as color designer, and Studio Oelle’s Yuusaku Murakmi (22/7) as photography director. Studio 3Hz is the animation production company. 

Meanwhile, the cast includes Karin Isobe as Kana Fuji, Marina Horiuchi as Reimi Itsushiro, Akane Kumada as Hibiki Morishima, Chihaya Yoshitake as Sonia Yanagi, Ayahi Takagaki as Ria Karasuma, Hisako Toujo as Shoko Nagisa, and Miyu Takagi as Shinobu Honosaka.
