#2.5 Dimensional Seduction Anime Reveals New Visuals, Premiere Date, Theme Song Details

Two new visuals have been released for the upcoming 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime. One of them is the show’s second key visual, which features four of its heroines in cosplay, while the other is a cosplay character visual of Noa and Aria Kisaki, who were previewed last month.

Additionally, it was announced that the consecutive two-cour anime will premiere in Japan on July 5, and that its theme songs are “Shutter Chance” and “Watch Me.” “Shutter Chance,” the opening song, is sung by Meychan. For “Watch Me,” the singers are cast members Kaori Maeda and Akari Kito.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction is an adaptation of the cosplay-themed romantic comedy manga by Yu Hashimoto, which started its serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in 2019. The manga has 19 tankoubon volumes as of January 2024. 

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the plot as: 

“I have no interest in real girls!” So claims Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He’s your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Liliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.
