A new leak has indicated that Halo Infinite will be arriving on Xbox and PC on the 8^th of December. Many fans expect that 343 Industries will be making the Halo Infinite release by mid-November, as November 15^th marks the 20^th anniversary of the series. While the new leaked date is a bit off the anniversary, no one would shy away from celebrating twice!

Twitter user Idle Sloth had put up a post of a screenshot from a Taiwanese online shop. Speculations suggest that the release will be on December 8.
The site listing also says that the Forge mode will be available with the game launch; while 343 Industries has claimed that the Forge mode and the campaign co-op mode will be delayed until after the launch.

More Leaks

On the same day, leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia posted a listing on the Microsoft Store that also suggested the same. The tweet is also seemingly got a confirmation from Microsoft insider Tom Warren as well. The leaker explained that the listing had been live since August 2020. However, this recently got an update with the release date and other details.

Xbox did not reveal any details about the release of Halo Infinite yet, not even during Gamescom 2021. Halo Infinite’s US, UK, and AU Microsoft stores still list the game for a release on the 31^st of December.
Since the release on the 8^th is still a rumor, fans will have to hold on to their hopes, but be sure not to get too hyped up because details might change at any time.
There have been several delays in many games due to the pandemic, so it is better to wait for an official announcement before celebrating. Since there have been updates on the Microsoft Store and the Taiwanese e-store, we can expect an official announcement soon.
