While no exact premiere date has been set, the show is expected to return Mondays and Tuesdays with the season’s fall slate for the show’s 19th cycle on the network. Along with host Carson Daly, coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton will return following the show’s most recent season.
Joining the trio of coaches for Season 19 though will be Voice alumna Gwen Stefani who has appeared in the role in four separate seasons over the years. Stefani made her debut on the show in Season 7 and appeared in subsequent years during Seasons 9, 12 and 17. This year will mark her fifth run as coach on the program.
In the past, Stefani also lent her talents as an advisor in Season 10, but it’s been a while since fans last saw her on The Voice stage in one of the show’s iconic red chairs. The spot Stefani is filling in Season 19 was filled in Season 18 by Voice newbie Nick Jonas.

Get ready for plenty of silly shenanigans as the hilarious banter between the coaches is sure to return with full force, especially considering Stefani and Shelton’s off-screen relationship. Since coronavirus quarantine took effect, the pair have appeared in various remote specials to perform their duet “Nobody But You.”
