Flight 2304 was met by police when it landed about 4:30 p.m. at the New Jersey airport, the Lakewood Scoop reported.
The suspect was removed from the Boeing 787 and police placed all the passengers’ luggage on the tarmac, where canines sniffed it for possible explosives.
After the all-clear, the bags were released to the passengers, who were bused to the terminal, according to the news outlet.
“United flight 2304 from Los Angeles to Newark, NJ was met by emergency vehicles due to an onboard medical emergency. During the medical emergency on board, the passenger made a remark which created a potential security concern,” airline rep Kimberly Gibbs told The Post in a statement.

“The flight landed safely and the customer was transported to a local hospital,” she added.
The type of medical emergency was not immediately available. No injuries were reported.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said the pilot requested that police meet the flight when it landed at Newark.
