#Grindr saved 69 jobs with help from Paycheck Protection Program

Hookup app Grindr was among the hundreds of thousands of businesses receiving money from the government’s high-profile $660 billion pandemic aid program.

The gay dating platform was included on the list released by the Trump administration on Monday, and was revealed to have gotten between $1 and $2 million in loans.

The funds, according to the Treasury, helped Grindr stave off 69 layoffs.

Grindr, which was recently sold by Beijing’s Kunlun Tech to an investor group called San Vicente Acquisition, did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The PPP was designed to rescue the millions of small businesses that have seen their businesses dry up because of social distancing shutdowns.
