#Great Pretender Anime Gets North American Home Video Release via Anime Limited

UK-based distributor Anime Limited made its presence at London’s MCM Comic-Con earlier today during its industry panel with its latest slate of home video releases and usual collector’s edition flair. The lineup focused on European Collector’s Edition releases of titles such as Gunbuster, One Piece Film RED, a 4K UHD edition of the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy and the Gundam Build Divers TV series alongside Lupin The 3rd Part 6. However, the biggest announcement of the panel centered on the surprise Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release of the 2020 anime series Great Pretender for the UK, Ireland, US and Canada. Further details on pricing, contents and availability will be released in the future.

GREAT PRETENDER is an original anime penned by writer Ryoto Kosawa and directed by Hiro Kaburagi (Hozuki’s Coolheadedness) and produced at WIT Studio. The series was released on Netflix worldwide in August 2020, and aired on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block from July to December 2020. Netflix describes the series:
