#Grand Blue Season 2 Gets Trailer

An OP version trailer for Grand Blue Season 2 is now out.

The opening is the recently announced “Seishun to wa” by Shonan no Kaze feat. Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders. Collaboration illustrations with the OP’s artists were also released.

Grand Blue Season 2 will premiere on July 7 JST. It is based on the Kodansha-published manga written by Kenji Inoue and drawn by Kimitake Yoshioka, which Kodansha USA describes as:

After moving out on his own to a seaside town, Iori Kitahara makes a college debut he never anticipated. A new chapter of his life unfolds, full of diving with beautiful girls and shenanigans with a gaggle of lovable bastards! Idiot-expert Kenji Inoue and au naturel authority Kimitake Yoshioka bring you a glorious college tale filled with booze-fueled antics!

The manga started serialization in Good! Afternoon in 2014 and has 23 volumes as of October 2024.

The anime’s first season aired in 2018.
