Burna Boy performed a medley of songs from his seventh studio album I Told Them at the 2024 Grammys tonight, finishing by bringing Brandy and 21 Savage onstage for a rendition of “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.” His performance marks the first from an Afro-fusion artist on the Grammy’s main stage.
Burna Boy was nominated for four awards at the 2024 Grammys — Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Sittin’ on Top of the World” featuring 21 Savage), Best Global Music Album (I Told Them…), Best Global Music Performance (“Alone”), and Best African Music Performance (“City Boys”) — though he took none home this year. He is currently touring North America.
