It starts at $45 per month, and you’ll get a Pixel 6 and everything else you need all-in-one. Google’s new Pixel Pass subscription might be too good to pass up, and here’s everything you’ll get.
Similar to the Apple One plan, Google’s Pixel Pass gets you the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro along with 200GB of Google One cloud storage, an extended preferred care warranty, YouTube Music and video premium subscriptions, a Google Play Pass, and a free phone upgrade in two years all for only $45 per month or $55 per month for the Pixel 6 Pro.
For those wondering, Youtube Premium is $12 per month, while YouTube Music is $9.99 per month. When you add on 200GB of Google One cloud storage, an extended warranty, and Google Play Pass, it all combines to be nearly $37 per month, or more if you have the Pixel 6 Pro — and that’s before you buy a new phone. So, getting all of that AND the new Pixel 6 for only $45 per month makes Google’s Pixel Pass a pretty good deal. Plus, you can upgrade to a new Pixel after two years.
Most people buy a phone from a carrier, Google or Apple, and make monthly payments for around two years. So, getting all of Google’s other services and YouTube bundles simultaneously, at a heavy discount, is the idea here. Then, this helps Google lock in users to its popular services like YouTube Music or ad-free YouTube playback, original content, and video downloads.
Google’s new Pixel 6 is $599, while the bigger Pixel 6 Pro is only $899. Or, you can get them on a monthly payment plan with all these other goodies. Pixel Pass is exclusive to the United States for now, and it’s available on the Google Store and works with all supported carriers or on Google Fi.
According to Google, if subscribers cancel before the end of two years, they’ll have to pay off the remaining Pixel phone value early at its regular “non-discounted price” and will lose access to all the bundled premium services.
