A second teen died Monday after being hit by gunfire in a drive-by shooting while playing basketball on a Brooklyn court over the weekend, police said.

The senseless violence broke out just after 6:40 p.m. when a gunman popped out of the sunroof of a dark-colored Honda SUV and opened fire into the George Walker Jr. Park in Cypress Hills, police said.

A 16-year-old boy, Kleimer Mendez, died at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head, cops said.

On Monday, 18-year-old Antonio Villa, who was also hit struck by gunfire in the head, died at Kings County Hospital, cops said.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison released the shocking surveillance footage Monday afternoon of the triggerman with his body halfway out of the SUV and asked for the public’s help in finding those involved.

A third teen was hit by a bullet in the leg and was expected to recover, police said.

It was unclear if the teens were targeted by the triggerman or if they were innocent bystanders as the city deals with a surge in shootings.

The 18-year-old’s death brings the total of murders to eight on Sunday.

Police Commissioner Dermot Shea warned Monday the uptick in gunplay could last through the summer.
