Two new cast members and an aspirational new preview video have been published for Farewell, My Dear Cramer (known as Sayonara, Watashi no Cramer in Japan), an upcoming TV anime based on the sports manga by Naoshi Arakawa (Your lie in April) about a group of high school girls that aim to reach the pinacle of the women’s soccer world. The new cast members include:

A character setting of Nanami Zaizen from the upcoming Farewell, My Dear Cramer TV anime.

Mikako Komatsu as Nanami Zaizen.

A character setting of Masahiro Gotouda from the upcoming Farewell, My Dear Cramer TV anime.

And Sho Hayami as Masahiro Gotouda.

An English language version of the Farewell, My Dear Cramer manga is available from Kodansha Comics, who describe the story of the series as follows:

With no soccer accomplishments to speak of during the entirety of Sumire Suo’s junior high school years, the young wing gets an odd offer. Suo’s main rival, Midori Soshizaki, invites her to join up on the same team in high school, with a promise that she’ll never let Suo “play alone.” It’s an earnest offer, but the question is whether Suo will take her up on it. Thus the curtain opens on a story that collects an enormous cast of individual soccer-playing personalities!

The Farewell, My Dear Cramer TV anime focuses on high school student Nozomi Onda as she and her friends aim to be the best in the world of women’s soccer.

The Farewell, My Dear Cramer TV anime is directed by Seiki Takuno and features animation production by Liden Films. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations beginning on April 04, 2021. The series will also stream on Crunchyroll as part of the spring 2021 simulcast lineup.
