#Giants sign Jonotthan Harrison to one-year contract

Jonotthan Harrison is completing the New York Trifecta.

Harrison signed a one-year contract Sunday with the Giants to provide offensive line depth, The Post confirmed. While most futures contracts are straightforward for the league minimum, Harrison’s deal is worth at least $990,000 with a face value of $1.2 million and a maximum of $2 million with incentives, according to a source.

The 29-year-old Harrison spent the 2017-19 seasons with the Jets and was in line to be the starting center before Ryan Kalil came out of retirement. He spent most of last season on the Bills practice squad – never appearing in a game – and thus was eligible to sign before veteran free agents on 53-man rosters become available in March.

The Giants are committed to center Nick Gates, who played every snap last season, as their starter after his first season at the position. Spencer Pulley dressed for all 16 games but did not see the field as Gates’ backup.

Pulley is under contract in 2021 with a $2.7 million cap charge and no dead money if released, so Harrison is a cheaper alternative.

Harrison has appeared in 84 career games with 42 starts, including a career-high 10 starts twice – as an undrafted rookie with the 2014 Colts and with the 2019 Jets when Kalil was injured. He also could be an option as a backup guard.

NFL Network first reported Harrison’s addition.
