“Giant Monsters Rumble in Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex 3DCG Short Film”
If you’d like a little giant monster action to start off your day, then check out the official YouTube upload of Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex, a 3DCG short film from director Takuya Uenishi which was screened at the Godzilla Fest 2022 event. The film (below) clocks in at just shy of 6.5 minutes including the credits and serves as the sequel to the 2019 short film, G vs. G, which was also directed by Uenishi.

The official Godzilla Channel on YouTube describes the story of Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex as follows:
The hordes of Gigans that appeared in the previous movie attacked the earth again. In addition, a red-colored Gigan called “Gigan Rex”, that rules the other Gigans has just appeared.
Will Godzilla be able to defeat the Gigan Rex, which boasts of its outstanding fighting ability?
