A Georgia father who was seen disciplining his teen daughter in disturbing videos on Instagram has defended his actions — saying he only regrets sharing the confrontation online, according to a report.

The father, identified by WSB-TV as Drew Anderson, was seen in videos posted to Instagram earlier this month questioning his daughter along with his wife — the 14-year-old girl’s stepmother — for lying, stealing and trying to run away.

The footage, which was no longer available Tuesday, showed the teen inside a garage where she appeared to be struck by a woman, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

In a second video, the teen — who was identified as Trinity in the clips — pleaded with her father as he seemingly pinned her to the floor and sat on her chest, the newspaper reports.

“Daddy, get off me please,” the teen said in the footage that was reportedly viewed more than a million times and prompted some online to contact local authorities.

The incident took place at a home in Buford on Sept. 5, Gwinnett County police told the station.

The case has since been handed over to the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office, which will decide if charges will be filed, Corp. Collin Flynn told The Post.

The girl, meanwhile, is now in a “safe living environment” until the matter is resolved, Flynn said.

Anderson defended his actions during an interview Monday, admitting that the videos “look bad” while insisting he and his wife never hit his daughter.

“I don’t regret anything that was seen on that video, but I do regret broadcasting the video to other people,” Anderson told the station.

“I stand behind what I did as a father, somebody who is concerned,” Anderson continued. “I love my daughter. I don’t want to hurt my daughter and I don’t want her to get hurt.”

Anderson also denied sitting on his daughter, claiming he didn’t put his “weight down on her” at any point. But the footage shows Anderson asking his daughter if she “was ready to handle that” before she said no and was apparently struck by her stepmother, video shows.

“Don’t you hit me!” the teen screamed as she ran out of a garage with Anderson chasing after her, the footage shows.

Anderson said he was trying to show his daughter what could happen if someone she didn’t know tried to harm her after she tried running away three times in two months, WSB-TV reports.

“My intent was to give her an experience that she can feel because she is not listening to me,” Anderson said. “I just hope this situation will wake her up in a sense.”

A message seeking comment from Gwinnett County prosecutors was not immediately returned Tuesday.
