#Georgia DA to present Trump election case to grand jury: live updates
Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) is expected to present her case this week against former President Trump over his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state.
Two witnesses over the weekend said they have been asked to appear before the grand jury Tuesday, including the state’s former lieutenant governor.
Willis has indicated that her team’s work has been “accomplished,” setting up a potential fourth criminal indictment of Trump this year.
The Atlanta-area grand jury is meeting Monday and Tuesday this week, according to reports.
