After uploading her flawless rendition of Hu Tao on Instagram, a Genshin Impact cosplayer went viral. With her dramatic metamorphosis, the artist brought the Liyue Funeral parlor director to life.
Players have been clamoring for Hu Tao to reappear since the release of Genshin Impact’s 1.3 Moment of Bloom Banner. A repeat of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Director is scheduled for November 2021.
In a series of Instagram postings, popular cosplayer mochichuu demonstrated her metamorphosis into the Genshin Impact heroine. The artist dressed in Hu Tao’s characteristic funeral parlor costume with photographer ‘gardani_angelica.’

Hu Tao Comes To Life
- Caterina ‘mochichuu’ Rocchi, a prominent cosplayer, released her true-to-life representation of the 5-star hero to commemorate the character’s anticipated comeback. Her frightening re-creation of the polearm user is also a great method for miHoYo gacha aficionados to enjoy Halloween.
- Caterina showed off her extremely crafted outfit by recreating her eerie posture from the game. This is undoubtedly one of the most authentic-looking cosplays of the 5-star figure we’ve seen.
- Her black velvet top with flowery design, her trademark hat with a plum blossom attachment was on point. Caterina Rocchi explained that she picked Hu Tao as her costume due to her wonderful charisma and exquisite character design.
- The cosplayer also revealed future plans to cosplay iconic Inazuma characters Sangonomiya Kokomi and Kujou Sara, revealing that she wants to bring more Genshin Impact characters to life.
