#Central Cee and 21 Savage join forces on the transatlantic “GBP”

The latest cut from Can’t Rush Greatness is here.

“GBP” is a new collaboration from Central Cee and 21 Savage. The track plays on the differences between the U.S. and the U.K., with Central Cee rapping about gun laws and 21 Savage referencing the Premier League. A video directed by Cole Bennet, and shot in Atlanta, features the pair going bar for bar in front of a Union Jack flag. Check it out above.

Of course, in 2019 21 Savage was arrested by ICE officials who alleged that he came to the U.S. from the U.K. in 2005 and failed to leave when his visa expired a year later. In 2023 his four-year immigration saga came to an end as the rapper revealed he is was a “lawful permanent resident” and would remain in the United States.

Central Cee’s debut album Can’t Rush Greatness will be released on January 24. In addition to “GBP,” the album will also feature the 2024 single “BAND4BAND” featuring Lil Baby.
