A friend of Doomsday cult mom Lori Vallow said he was one of the last people to see her 7-year-old autistic son alive, a court heard Monday.

David Warwick, the then-boyfriend of Vallow’s close friend Melanie Gibb, was staying at Vallow’s Rexburg, Idaho, home Sept. 22, 2019, and briefly saw Joshua “JJ” Vallow on his way to bed.

The next morning, Warwick asked to see JJ so he could say goodbye.

“She (Vallow) said he was being a zombie and climbed up on the cabinet, climbed up onto the fridge and smashed her picture of Christ down,” Warwick testified at the Fremont County Courthouse.

“I asked to see him but she said he was out of control and had Alex (Vallow’s brother) come and get him.”

Warwick was testifying at a preliminary hearing to determine whether the case against Vallow’s husband, Chad Daybell, will remain in state court.

Daybell and Vallow, whose hearing will be held at a later date, are accused of concealing evidence by hiding the bodies of JJ and his 17-year-old sister, Tylee Ryan, on a section of his Rexburg property where he also buried dead pets, including a cat and dog.

JJ was adopted by Vallow and her late husband Charles Vallow. Tylee was Vallow’s biological daughter with ex-husband Joseph Ryan.

Daybell has written books and spoken on podcasts about the supposed coming of the Apocalypse — and he and his wife allegedly believed in zombies that could possess people.

One of Vallow’s pals has said the mom repeatedly told her last year that JJ and Tylee had become “zombies’’ — and that the only way to get rid of an evil spirit was to kill it.
