#French Montana Reminds Fans About His Solo Hits In Response To Scathing 'Squid Game' Meme

French Montana is the topic of discussion in a recent meme inspired by Netflix’s uber-popular series Squid Game. The meme asks to name five solo hits by the Coke Boys leader, and fans have been poking fun at the rapper.

On Monday (October 25), French Montana took to his Twitter to join in on the conversation reminding fans he does have hits in his lengthy catalog. It doesn’t seem like French is too happy with people having fun at his expense as he dissed those who felt he doesn’t have hits.

French’s rap career is about to hit 15 years, and in that time, the “FWMGAB” rapper has put out a lot of music. His fiery mixtape run with the Coke Boys and Mac & Cheese series in the late 2000s put him on the map in New York City Hip Hop. Some of the early singles he listed in his tweet, such as “Shot Caller” and “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’,” propelled him into the limelight even further.

Somewhere down the line, though, French Montana dropped more songs with guest features as singles, and a lot of those songs became his biggest, such as “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee and “Pop That” featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Because of that, the latest trend these days is to write French Montana off as a featured artist or drag him for a mediocre solo catalog.

Out of the 12 songs French released as a lead artist since 2019, only two of them were solo records. But French plans on changing that with an upcoming solo record ready to drop this week. According to the rumor mill, French Montana could be unleashing an album next month.
