#Free-to-Start Team Battler Pokémon Unite Hits Switch on July 21

Last month, The Pokémon Company announced plans to launch free-to-start MOBA Pokémon Unite on Switch first this month, and now we have a date. The team battle game will officially hit Nintendo Switch on July 21, followed by a September launch on iOS and Android.

There’s a new trailer to go along with the announcement:

Players will get a special Unite license for Zeraora if they log in to the Switch version by August 31, then they’ll be able to use the Pokémon in battle. Here’s how The Pokémon Company describes it:

Zeraora can close the distance between itself and its opponents in the blink of an eye, just like lightning, and deal massive amounts of damage all at once. Its Unite Move, Plasma Gale, sends out a powerful electric blast that creates a zone of plasma around the area where the blast hits.
