A Virginia teen’s “dream” tattoo turned into a nightmare after he later realized that the artist had drawn it on backwards.

“Now I can only read it through a mirror,” laments Dylan Harraway, 18, in a hilarious and now-viral clip.

The young rapper had reportedly wanted to get “Dream Chaser” tattooed on his forearm to motivate him to pursue goals, according to Jam Press.

“I need to do whatever I need to do to chase my dreams of living the life I’ve wanted,” says Harraway, who was reportedly also inspired by Dream Chaser Records founder Meek Mill, 33.

The budding hip-hop artist decided to get his inspirational ink job at what he says seemed like a “very clean and professional” local tattoo parlor, whose name he’s since withheld to preserve their reputation. Harraway spent two hours and $200 getting tatted, and was initially satisfied with the results, not realizing the blunder until he saw a friend.

“I didn’t notice until my friend told me it was backwards,” exclaims Harraway. “I was very angry and there were a lot of emotions running through me.”

His botched body art also received mixed reactions from both friends and online critics.

“My friend just thought it was funny and it looked good and my family thought I was a dumbass!” says the flabbergasted rapper. He added that critics on social media said it “looks terrible and that’s what I get for $200.”

“Serve you right for getting dream chaser on your arm,” scoffed one detractor.

Fortunately, others sympathized with Harraway’s plight with one suggesting he fix the issue by having a kid and naming him “Resahc Maerd.”  Meanwhile, famed NYC tattoo artist “Bang Bang,” who has inked the likes of Rihanna and Kylie Jenner, offered to do a cover up job for the distraught teen, according to Jam Press.

Despite the disastrous experience, the unflappable rapper says he isn’t traumatized and is looking forward to finishing his sleeve in the future.
