Movie releases have become synonymous with character releases on the popular battle royale game from Epic Games, Fortnite. The latest set of characters to be added to Fortnite has been taken from the recent release, Dune.

Dune is an epic sci-fi film, containing unmatched and unseen worldbuilding adapted from the book of the same name by Frank Herbert. The movie stars Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya in the lead roles of Paul Atreides and Chani respectively.

The announcement of the crossover also included a trailer that featured the two actors and their characters, along with previews of the cosmetic sets in the game.

“Destined to change the course of the universe, Paul Atreides weaves his own destiny and now, with Chani at his side, their travels take them to the heart of a battle they had not prepared for… a battle on the Fortnite Island.”

In the trailer, Zendaya states in regard to her character, “Chani is a powerful Fremen warrior who calls the most dangerous planet in the known universe as her home.” Timothee continued, also describing his character, “And Paul has been trained to be a fighter and leader destined for greatness beyond his wildest dreams.”

Chani’s Satchel Back Bling

Maker Hooks Pickaxe
