Floating Points preps for summer with new track “Vocoder”

Last year Floating Points collaborated with Pharoah Sanders and London Symphony Orchestra on Promises, one of The FADER’s favorite albums of 2021. Today Sam Shepherd returns with new solo material ahead of a busy summer of DJ sets. Think of “Vocoder,” streaming below, as official permission to start thinking of festivals, fun, and general good times.

Floating Points will be at Coachella in April and This Ain’t No Picnic in August with DJ sets also booked across Europe, Australia, and the U.K. in between. See below for the full schedule
