#Five people wounded in shooting near Brooklyn housing complex

Five people were shot near a Brooklyn housing complex on Monday night, police said.

The gunfire rang out at about 6:30 p.m. at the Bayview Houses on Rockaway Parkway near Seaview Avenue in Canarsie, cops said.

All of the victims were rushed to area hospitals and expected to survive, according to police.

Nearly a dozen shell casings littered a sidewalk and street outside the housing development about an hour after the shooting.

No arrests were immediately made and investigators were working to determine the cause of the shooting.
