A 29-year-old man was blasted in the groin during what appeared to be an attempted robbery on Amsterdam Avenue near West 94th Street on the Upper West Side around 4:30 a.m., according to police.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside with non-life-threatening injuries.
About two hours earlier, four men were shot outside Kings Studio, an event venue on Atlantic Avenue near Williams Avenue in Cypress Hills, cops said.
Two men, 33 and 23, were both shot in the right leg and taken to local hospitals.
Two other men, 20 and 22, were taken to Interfaith Medical Center by private means for gunshot wounds to their left legs.
They had been attending a party inside the venue, police sources said.
The city endured a bloody weekend, preliminary data released by the NYPD shows.
Eight shootings with eight victims, one of whom was killed, were reported Sunday. On that day in 2019, there were four incidents with four victims, three of whom were killed.

On Saturday, 23 shootings with 20 victims — five of whom were killed — rattled the city. On that day last year, there were two people shot, one fatally, in two separate incidents.
And on Friday, there were a dozen shooting incidents with 20 victims. Last year, two shootings with two victims occurred on that day.
Both years, only one person was killed on that day.
