First Lady Jill Biden will undergo a “common medical procedure” Wednesday morning, according to the White House.

President Biden will accompany his wife to the appointment, a White House official said in a statement late Tuesday.

While not providing any details on the procedure, the official said the 78-year-old president and nearly 69-year-old first lady would return to the White House and “resume their normal schedule” afterward.

The first lady does not have any events scheduled for later Wednesday.

Her better half, meanwhile, has a packed day.

After returning from the appointment, described as taking place at “an outpatient center in Washington, DC,” Biden will receive his intelligence briefing before heading to meetings.

His public schedule does not have another event until the afternoon, when he will deliver remarks to the nation explaining his decision to fully withdraw US troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11.

Later in the day, he will travel to pay his respects at Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery, where most of the buried are those who died in the war fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.
