#First Ever “Gaming Mattress” Released By A Japanese Company

Comfort during gaming is valued by all players. While there have been several attempts to enhance the comfort for players, most of them focus on making chairs more comfortable or adding spaces such as mug holders and such. Recently, IKEA had also announced a collaboration with the Republic of Gamers to create a new line of furniture and accessories for gamers. Now, a Japanese company has come out with a gaming mattress! Yes, you heard that right!

The Japanese company Bauhutte has revealed its product:
“Gaming Mattress”

This is available in three different sizes. The mattress is aimed at providing gamers achieve ultimate comfort while they enjoy their favorite games. Bauhutte has stated that the mattress is a “high-quality urethane mattress that the Sleeping atmosphere of a gamer.”

Famitsu, a Japanese magazine, had the chance to experience the mattress and stated that it allows for pleasant and restorative sleep after a busy day of gaming. The mattress is designed to be small and flat so that it can accommodate the gaming equipment a player might want to use around it.

It is ultimately up to the player as to how they would like to utilize the space. Bauhutte stated that the mattress can be used as a part of a complete gaming setup, which will cater to the typical needs that would arise over the course of the day for gamers.

While the prospect of a gaming mattress may seem all too exciting, it is unfortunately only available in Japan for the time being. Depending on the size, it is available in the $250 – $400.
