Fire Country is adding another cast member. Zach Tinker (Days of Our Lives, Big Sky) is joining Max Thieriot, Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway, and Jules Latimer on the new CBS Friday night drama.
The series revolves around Bode Donovan (Thieriot), a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence. He joins a prison release firefighting program in Northern California and ends up stationed in the small town where his troubles began.
Deadline revealed the following about Tinker’s role in the CBS series:
“He plays Collin, a humble, charming, and talented probie firefighter. As the son of a famous firefighting hero, Collin carries a name that he’s constantly trying to live up to.”
His first appearance on Fire Country will be on a special episode of the series set to air on CBS tomorrow night.
The new series has been a successful addition to the CBS schedule and has already been renewed for a second season.
