Minx TV Show on HBO Max: canceled or renewed?

Minx was cancelled on Monday by HBO Max, but the cast is still filming season two. Starring Ophelia Lovibond, Jake Johnson, Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano, and Oscar Montoya, the series is set in 1970s Los Angeles and shows the creation of the first erotic magazine for women.

Johnson hopes that a new home is found for the series to air the second season and will renew the comedy for a third season. The series is currently being shopped to other outlets by Lionsgate TV. The first season is still available on HBO Max but is expected to be pulled later this month.

Johnson shared his thoughts on Instagram.
