#FEATURE: Happy Birthday to Black Clover Director, Tatsuya Yoshihara!

Today we celebrate the 32nd birthday of the Black Clover anime's brilliant director, Tatsuya Yoshihara. He celebrated his birthday with a beautiful illustration of the Black Bulls and Golden Dawn. 

 

 

The Black Clover anime recently celebrated its third anniversary and much has happened since Asta and Yuno's humble beginnings in Hage Village. The two rivals joined the Magic Knights and have continually surpassed their limits as they fight to protect the Clover Kingdom. Director Tatsuya Yoshihara is directly behind bringing some of Black Clover's most memorable moments to life. 

 

In Episode 49, Asta channels the power of his inner demon to defeat Vetto from the Eye of the Midnight Sun.

 

 

In Episode 80, Finral and elf-possessed Langris face off during the Royal Knights Selection Exam, but Langris is unsatisfied with victory and the Black Bulls stop him from trying to finish off Finral. 

 

 

Yuno powers up with Bell and fights Rill during the final match of the Royal Knights Selection Exam in Episode 84.

 

 

Episode 93 shows Wizard King Julius fighting Patry of the Eye of the Midnight Sun in order to protect the Clover Kingdom from utter destruction. 

 

 

In Episode 100, Asta and Yuno team up for a legendary fight against Licht of the Midnight Sun.

 

 

Noelle surpasses her limits and unlocks a new Water Magic spell to save her family from Kivn in Episode 108. Valkyrie Noelle flies through the battlefield with power and grace just like her mom. 

 

 

In Episode 128, the Heart Kingdom attacks the Black Bulls and Nero uses Sealing Magic to save Asta!

 

 

Director Tatsuya Yoshihara's dedication and vision has gifted us with Black Clover's beautiful animated universe. Happy birthday, Director. Thank you for all of the spectacular animation and direction you've shared with the world through Black Clover!
