# Famitsu Sales: 6/21/21 – 6/27/21

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of June 21, 2021 to June 27, 2021.

Samurai Warriors 5 was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 55,675 copies on PlayStation 4 and 38,691 copies on Switch for an opening week total of 94,366 retail copies sold.

Mario Golf: Super Rush for Switch was the highest selling single SKU release of the week, opening at 80,430 retail copies sold.

Other new releases this week include Scarlet Nexus, which sold 20,160 copies on PlayStation 4 and 11,008 copies on PlayStation 5 for a combined opening week total of 31,168 retail copies sold.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 72,951 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 23,438 units, the Xbox Series family sold 4,113 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,548 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
