Famitsu Sales: 1/31/22 – 2/6/22 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the two weeks spanning January 31, 2022 to February 6, 2022.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus for Switch remained highest selling game last week, moving an additional 359,064 retail copies. Dying Light 2: Stay Human was the highest selling new release, moving 24,160 copies on PlayStation 4 and 12,891 copies on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of 37,051 units sold.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 88,064 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 16,888 units, the Xbox Series family sold 5,990 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold eight units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
