#Fake video of Nancy Pelosi looking intoxicated goes viral on Facebook

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has again become a victim of a doctored video that has gone viral, according to fact-checkers who said it was made to look like she was intoxicated.

The video, seemingly first posted Saturday, had been seen more than 2 million times by Sunday, CNN said — and is still up with just a “Partly False Information” warning before it can be played.

“This is unbelievable, she is blowed out of her mind, I bet this gets taken down!” wrote a user named Will Allen, whom Facebook’s third-party fact-checkers, Lead Stories, identified as the original poster.

The video was “digitally slowed down to make it appear as if Pelosi was intoxicated,” said the report, which included the initial Capitol Hill news conference from May to show how she had been speaking normally.

Allen later appeared to admit it was a “fake doctored video” in a post where he attacked how it went viral and “no one takes it down.”

“Welcome to Facebook, where the truth are lies and the lies are truth,” he wrote.

It comes just over a year after other videos of Pelosi were doctored to make her look “drunk as a skunk,” which Pelosi previously claimed proved that Facebook was “willing enablers of the Russian interference in our election.”
