#Tyler, The Creator Champions Baby Keem, Kanye West & Babyface Ray Among 2021 Favorite Songs

Tyler, The Creator is not only a student of Hip Hop, he’s also one of the few rappers willing to give flowers to his peers in present time.

In a moment of reflection on Friday (December 31), the Grammy Award-winner thanked his fans for a “beautiful year” and listed his favorite songs of 2021, including tracks from Baby Keem, Kanye West, Babyface Ray and more.

Tyler, The Creator has repeatedly touted Ye’s “Life Of The Party,” featuring André 3000 as one of his favorite songs of the year, particularly 3 Stacks’ verse.

“man i heard life of the party a few months back and lost my mind,” Tyler tweeted in September. “song is beautiful man i want to eat it. very anita baker styled progression. original verse was so warm and true. pretty.”

Although Tyler spent most of 2021 on a victory lap after the release of his CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST album, he contemplated change in his career. Similar to swapping his old Twitter handle, the Odd Future star debated changing his stage name before standing firm on the moniker.

“I NEVER SAID I WAS CHANGING MY NAME, ARE YOU STUPID? YES,” he wrote on Twitter in a since-deleted tweet. “WILL EMBRACE MY LAST NAME MORE, LESS WOLF HALEY, NEVER SAID I WAS GONNA CHANGE MY STAGE NAME, WHAT YO EARS ON BRO?”
