Former New York Knicks guard Gerald Wilkins was reportedly arrested on assault charges Tuesday after a string of arrests over separate incidents earlier this spring.

Wilkins, the younger brother of NBA legend Dominique Wilkins, faces two counts of battery after he was arrested in Cobb County, Georgia, TMZ reported Wednesday.

The second-round pick has had numerous run-ins with the law lately and was cuffed three times in 10 days over late May and early June.

Wilkins, 56 was previously arrested and charged with simple battery, theft and aggravated assault after Wilkins allegedly threw an object at a co-worker at his job and ran after the person with a screwdriver on June 9, local media reported.

He was also charged with simple assault after allegedly pushing a woman after forcing his way into her home on May 31.

Further details on his Tuesday arrest were not immediately clear.

The Knicks drafted Wilkins in 1985, where he played until 1992. He then suited up for brief stints at the Cavaliers, Grizzlies and Magic before retiring after the 1998-99 season. He averaged 13 points and 3 assists per game over his 14-year career.
