#Ex-FBI director James Comey to teach at Columbia Law School

Columbia University announced on Tuesday that former FBI director James Comey will be teaching there next year.

Comey is joining the Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership at Columbia Law School as a leader-in-residence for the spring semester.

He’s expected to start teaching the course “Lawyers and Leaders” in January.

“Comey’s experience represents a broadening of the Mark Initiative’s focus to include leadership of major public institutions, complementing existing offerings relating to corporations and law firms,” the school wrote on its website.

Comey has generally laid low since President Trump abruptly fired him in 2017 for ending the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server.

In 2018, Comey released a book titled “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership,” detailing his life in public office and his interactions with Trump.

His next book, “Saving Justice: Truth, Transparency, and Trust,” is set to be released next month when he begins teaching.
