#Every LEGO Fan Should Build This Amazing Christmas Tree Topper – Review Geek

If you’re looking for a new topper for your Christmas tree this year, you should consider building one out of LEGO bricks, like this guy did. LEGO builder JK Brickworks built one that even looks like it twinkles, thanks to some creative thinking.

It’s not surprising to see yet another creative build come from JK Brickworks, which is run by Jason Alleman. The YouTube channel is flush with cool LEGO builds, like a suspended train, a mechanical green frog, and a ski hill with a working lift. And this build—a ‘twinkling’ LEGO star tree topper—is just as thrilling. Alleman even used a LEGO Technic motor to create the perfect twinkling effect, which we can see in this video:

The result? An elegant luxe six-pointed star that genuinely looks like something you could buy at a store. If you’ve got the parts, though, we recommend copying the tutorial for yourself—then you can easily impress and delight your holiday guests.

It’s worth noting that, while the video itself does not have any voiceover, the building steps are listed out if you turn on subtitles. Alleman also provided a PDF version of the instructions and a detailed parts list, if that’s a little easier for you to use. You’ll need six LEGO motors, and some pieces (detailed in the video) from the LEGO Infinity Gauntlet set to complete it.

Alleman also noted in a recent blog post that he built the star as part of the LEGO Group’s 2021  Build To Give campaign. The company’s initiative encourages families to build their own star and share it on social media using the #BuildToGive hashtag. From there, the LEGO Group will donate a LEGO set to a child in need this holiday season.
