As the Beyoncé signees’ individual Instagram accounts continue to do numbers after they debuted them earlier this year, Neutrogena announced Wednesday (March 10) that the sister duo have been tapped as their latest brand ambassadors.
“I’m so happy to be a part of Neutrogena, not only as the brand ambassador, but as a fan, too,” Chloe told Us Weekly’s Stylish of the partnership. “For us, as black women, we have to be able to find products that work for our skin and sometimes that takes a bit of time. So knowing that bigger brands like Neutrogena are putting effort towards being more inclusive is really special.”
“We have always loved beauty, but I think this partnership is still kind of a pinch-me moment for us — it’s a dream come true,” Halle added. “Neutrogena has always been a brand that stands for everything we stand for, so we’re grateful to be able to join forces.”
As for their popular Instagram accounts, the pair spoke to The Breakfast Club‘s Angela Yee for International Women’s Day and explained the decisions to go solo were mainly so they could do Instagram Live streams when they’re not together – which was happening more often.
Chloe’s #BussItChallenge submission really set her account off when it went viral in January. As of Wednesday (March 10), her account sits at 2 million followers, while her younger sis has a solid 1 million as well.
