#Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 3 Begins January 7, New Trailer and Visual Released

Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 3 is set to kick off on January 7. The announcement of the show’s premiere date was accompanied by the release of its main visual and a new trailer, which preview more of Takagi and Nishikata’s cute relationship. 

The trailer ends with a reminder about the previously announced movie and its 2022 release date.

The first season of Teasing Master Takagi-san premiered in January 2018, while the second season premiered in July 2019. The anime is based on the manga by Souichirou Yamamoto, which began in 2013 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of September 2021. 

Teasing Master Takagi-san was first published under Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday Mini before moving to Monthly Shonen Sunday in 2016. In the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award this year, the series was the winner of the Shounen category alongside Chainsaw Man. 

The manga has inspired a spin-off about a married Takagi and Nishikata and their daughter titled Karakai Jouzu no (Moto) Takagi-san(Teasing Master [Former] Takagi-san) which began in 2017. Another manga spin-off titled Koi ni Koisuru Yukari-chan (Lover of Love Yukari-chan) ran from 2017 to 2020.

The returning staff for Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 3 includes Hiroaki Akagi as director; Aya Takano as character designer; Hiroaki Tsutsumi as music composer; Takuji Mogi, Natsuko Kondou, and Takano as chief animation directors; and Hiroko Fukuda, Aki Itami, and Kanichi Katou as scriptwriters. 

Joining the chief animation director lineup are Akihiko Okase (Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 1 and 2 animation director) and Masahito Onoda (Strike Witches: Road to Berlin chief animation director and co-sub character designer). Shin-Ei Animation is once again the animation production company.

Rie Takahashi and Yuki Kaji are once again voicing Takagi and Nishikata respectively. Yuiko Ouhara will perform the opening song.
