#Drugs, porn and kids found in backseat of Georgia couple’s car

A husband and wife from Georgia were arrested in St. Augustine Beach, Florida, this week after cops found “found meth, LSD, a gun and pornography” in the back seat of their car — right next to their two children, according to local news.

According to the police report, an officer noticed the couple standing outside their car and that they appeared to be under the influence — while their children sat in the backseat of the car. After finding the illegal substances, police promptly arrested  Tiffany Smith, 31, and Cody Smith, 32, on charges of child neglect and drug possession.

“None of this makes sense to me. I don’t like it because they’re being put off as they’re bad people, and they’re not. They’re the best parents, sometimes they’re so overprotective it’s unreal,” Kimberly Hunley, Tiffany Smith’s sister, told local station News4Jax.

After the arrest of their parents, the children were driven back to Georgia by the cops and put in the care of their aunt and uncle.
