A Bronx man has been hit with murder charges for allegedly stealing a truck in the middle of a delivery Tuesday, then taking it on a rampaging ride that ended in the death of a 25-year-old, authorities said Thursday.

Ramon Pena, 37, of Albany Crescent, faces up to 25 years behind bars on charges including murder, manslaughter, assault, grand larceny, and leaving the scene without reporting a death and “various traffic violations,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.

Pena, who does not have a valid driver’s license, allegedly nabbed the box truck, keys still in the ignition, at around noon while its driver was making a delivery on 101st Avenue in Jamaica.

He was later observed speeding down Humboldt and Metropolitan avenues at as much as 50 miles per hour, prosecutors charged — running red lights and injuring multiple vehicle occupants in the process.

He allegedly whacked more than 20 parked and moving cars, some occupied, before ramming into the driver’s side of a Honda CRV as it pulled out of the Metro Mall parking lot.

The driver of the CRV, Hamlet Cruz-Gomez, 25, also of the Bronx, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died of cardiac arrest.

After striking Cruz-Gomez, Pena “ran on foot away from the area and into the nearby Metropolitan Subway Station,” where cops arrested him, Katz alleged.

“This is a tragic incident that was caused by the alleged criminal actions of this defendant, who is accused of stealing a truck and causing extensive property damage,” Katz said in a statement.

“This depraved driving spree only came to an end after a horrible collision that killed a young man in his 20s.”

Pena was arraigned Wednesday night was held without bail ahead of a July 10 court date.

Cruz-Gomez left behind a wife and newborn daughter, according to a GoFundMe launched Thursday to cover his funeral expenses.
