A film concert featuring music and animation from the 2020 – 2022 TV anime, DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai, will be staged in Yokohama in April of 2023. The concert will feature a special orchestra band conducted by Yûki Hayashi, the music composer for the series, and the event will be held at 7:30pm JST on April 14, 2023 at the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall venue in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Tickets will be available through the event’s official website.

DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai is directed by Kazuya Karasawa and features animation production by Toei Animation. Crunchyroll describes the story of the series as follows:

The world that was once afflicted by Hadlar, the Dark Lord, has regained peace in the hands of a swordsman called the “hero” and his companions. Delmurin Island became a place where monsters released from the Dark Lord lived.

Dai, who is the only human on the island and longs to be a hero, lives in peace with the monsters. However, that life completely changes with the resurrection of the Dark Lord Hadlar. With promises from teachers, encounters with friends, and a destiny that cannot be escaped… In order to save the world, the adventure of Dai and his quest to be a hero begins!
